Makes for a good Christmas porridge!
1 l milk (or water)
3–3.5 dl Birkkala Wholemeal Spelt Flakes
0.5-1 tsp salt
Boil the milk. Mix in the flakes. Cook the porridge slowly under the lid for about 40 minutes. Stir every now and then. Season the porridge with salt.
You can also cook the porridge in the oven at 150 degrees C for a bit over 2 hours without a lid. Stir every now and then.
We suggest adding Finnish blueberries on top.
